Enjoy a boat tour along the Costa Brava, exploring its impressive coves and blue waters. Then, visit charming medieval villages, where you can immerse yourself in local history and culture, all in a day full of natural beauty and historical discoveries.
We begin our exciting tour in the beautiful town of Platja d’Aro. Here a boat awaits you in which we will explore the best coves and routes on the Costa Brava. Platja d’Aro is known for its stunning coastal landscapes and vibrant maritime life.
Sailing from Platja d’Aro, following the picturesque coastal path, we arrive at Cala del Pi. This cozy little cove is popular with couples, families and walkers. With its coarse sand and easy access on foot or by car, Cala del Pi stands out for its rocky bottom, which makes it an ideal place to enjoy snorkeling or diving. This cove has been listed as one of the best beaches in all of Europe, offering a perfect natural environment for relaxation and adventure.
After exploring the coves and enjoying water activities, if you wish on your own, we will head to a local restaurant to enjoy a delicious lunch. You can taste a traditional dish from the region, such as an exquisite seafood paella, prepared with rice or fresh seafood.
We continue en route towards the picturesque medieval towns, starting with Pals. Upon arrival we will go to the Mirador del Pedró, one of the highest points in the town. From here, you will enjoy a spectacular panoramic view that takes in the rice fields, the Empordà plain and, on clear days, all the way to the Pyrenees. This is the perfect place to take some photos and capture the beauty of the surroundings.
From the viewpoint, we will descend through the narrow streets flanked by stone houses decorated with colorful flowers. We will visit the Torre de les Hores, a Romanesque tower from the 12th century that used to be part of the old defensive wall. Its name comes from the bell tower added in the 15th century. The tower is one of the emblems of Pals and offers a fascinating insight into medieval architecture.
We continue the route towards Peratallada, another beautiful medieval town with a castle, walls, moats and palaces, just 10 minutes away by car. Once there, we will enjoy a walk through its cobbled streets and stone facades that characterize this town. Plaza de les Voltes is the heart of Peratallada, known for its well-preserved medieval center.
Finally, we will close this day of adventure by returning.
