Barcelona - Andorra

Upon arrival in Andorra, we will visit the most characteristic towns and places of this beautiful country, among which we highlight:

Tibetan Bridge Andorra
Second longest bridge in the world, specifically in the parish of Canillo, this infrastructure has 603 meters long and an elevation of 158 meters above Vall del Riu. This bridge is designed to be crossed by people of all ages because it is extremely safe, it can only be crossed on foot, going up from Canillo with the official bus, located at 1875 meters high, it is one meter wide and this allows the passage of people in both directions of travel, since the route is designed to go and return by the same route.

Roc del Quer viewpoint
The Mirador Roc del Quer is a viewpoint with spectacular views located at the top of the Coll d’Ordino road and whose access is open during the summer months, is one of those places that you will never forget. Panoramic views that remain etched in the retina forever and that, in this case, are much more than that: it is an experience of being suspended in the air, as if the mountains of the Pyrenees embrace you. For this reason, and despite the fact that it has been recently inaugurated, this viewpoint is already one of the most famous places in Canillo.

Vall House
It is one of the most symbolic monuments of Andorra, located in Andorra la Vieja, is the former headquarters of the General Council of Andorra. Its interior is divided into a first floor and two upper floors. On the first floor there is a spectacular Criminal Court, with wooden furniture and decoration. On the second floor is the Sala de los Pasos Perdidos, a noble room of the building, with original mural paintings from the 16th century. Also on this floor is the session room and the kitchen. The second floor, a former attic, has been converted into a multipurpose room.

Church of San Esteve
Church located in the Príncep Benlloch square in Andorra la Vieja, it is of Romanesque origin (12th century) and has had important modifications during the 20th century. From the Romanesque period the semicircular apse is preserved, where the Romanesque mural paintings were represented and are currently distributed in the National Museum of Art of Catalonia and two private collections. The wedding of Cana, the image of a winged bull, and Christ before Pilate are some of the fragments of the pictorial ensemble preserved in the National Art Museum of Catalonia.

Poble Square
It is the largest square in the capital of Andorra and offers besides green areas and benches to rest, the possibility of enjoying several sculptures, an incredible viewpoint and several playgrounds. We will also find the entrance to the Congress Center of Andorra la Vella or other cultural services of the parish, such as the Andorran Institute of Music.

Central Park
It is a large space with natural grass, trees and dotted with sculptures that blend in perfectly with the natural environment and that change according to the time of year. The park is equipped with all services: children’s play area, litter garbage cans, benches, drinking fountains and public toilets. In addition, it is fully accessible, so that the elderly or people with reduced mobility or families with strollers can enjoy it with total peace of mind.

We will move to Montserrat

Andorra - Montserrat - Return

We will visit this beautiful place known as Montserrat; This mountain or massif is one of the most peculiar and representative natural areas of Catalonia. Here is the sanctuary and monastery of the same name, which is dedicated to the Virgin of Montserrat. After the construction of several hermitages, around the year 1025 a monastery was founded, which became a sanctuary and the definitive home of the statue of the Virgin. This enclosure became the monastery of Santa Maria, today known as the Monastery of Montserrat.

After this great tour we will return to Barcelona.
