Penedés Tour

We will take route in a private vehicle, heading to one of the most wine-growing areas in Spain; we will start in the village of Vilafranca del Penedés, a charming town with a well preserved old town. We will discover the rich wine history of Catalonia in the Vinseum, a museum that offers exhibitions on wine culture, from ancient times to the present, an adventure that we cannot miss.
Visit the Bodegas Torres where we will know the richness of flavors and aromas offered by the wine legacy of Familia Torres in this unique wine and cheese pairing experience. Four exceptional wines join four varieties of cheese (Brie, semi-cured, cured and blue) in search of perfect harmony, creating combinations that awaken the senses and celebrate the Mediterranean gastronomic tradition.

Your adventure begins with a visit to the impressive vineyard of Mas La Plana, where you can stroll among the majestic vines and learn about the care of grapes and the cultivation process that gives life to the wines of Familia Torres. Enjoy the beauty of nature as you explore this iconic place.

Then, you will be taken to the Waltraud winery, where you will learn the secrets of the winemaking and aging of Torres wines. From fermentation to ageing in oak barrels, you will get a complete overview of the production process of these world-renowned wines.

The highlight of your experience will be the tasting of four carefully selected wines, each paired with a specific artisan cheese. Discover how the choice of cheese can highlight and complement the taste profiles of wines, creating truly exceptional combinations.

At all times, you will have the company of an expert wine guide who will guide you through the history and tradition of Familia Torres, sharing his deep knowledge of the world of wine and cheese.

This unforgettable experience lasts approximately 2 hours, during which time you will immerse yourself in the exciting universe of oenology and Mediterranean cuisine.

After this exciting visit, we will give time for lunch (not included) at a local restaurant offering traditional Catalan cuisine paired with local wines.
In the afternoon, we will make a second visit to a local winery, more familiar character. In this case, the interest is focused on the care with which vines care, and organic farming. We will offer a tasting of the wines of the Winery, to finish.
We will return to Barcelona, with photographs and adventures that taught us the history of the most popular wine areas in Spain.
