Private Tour Mountain Villages and Andorra la Vella

Our private tour starts very early in the morning (time agreed upon in the reservation), you will be picked up by one of our driver guides, who will be in charge of directing you and describing each and every one of the most relevant instances of our tour.

The transfer to our first point will be done in one of our comfortable vehicles or the one you have previously chosen in your reservation.

With our arrival in Andorra, we will begin a route full of great history, arriving at one of the most representative villages of the principality, Ordino; presenting incredible landscapes of great value, we will take the time to visit every corner of this town, including a beautiful parish called Llorts, where we will visit the Llorts Mine; you will learn about the process of evolution and transformation of iron, from the prospecting and extraction of the mineral to its preparation and processing in the Farga Rossell de la Massana. The Llorts Mine is part of the Iron Route where you will see other monuments such as the sculptures of the Iron Men, the church of Sant Martí de la Cortinada and the old path of the traginants.

Then we will go through Pal to visit its main point of interest known as: Church Sant Climent de Pal; a Romanesque style church located in Pal, specifically in the parish of Massana, is one of the oldest temples that are preserved in Andorra, preserving elements of great artistic value, from the late eleventh century and later dates. Among them: a baptismal font made of granite, two processional crosses in polychrome wood and a carving of the Virgin of Remei, dating from the final phase of the Romanesque period in the country. There is also an altarpiece dedicated to Pope Clement I, the titular saint of the church.

After visiting these incredible villages, we will head to Andorra La Vella to visit two great spots:
La Casa de Vall
It is one of the most symbolic monuments of Andorra, located in Andorra la Vieja, is the former headquarters of the General Council of Andorra. Its interior is divided into a first floor and two upper floors. On the first floor there is a spectacular Criminal Court, with wooden furniture and decoration. On the second floor is the Sala de los Pasos Perdidos, a noble room of the building, with original mural paintings from the 16th century. Also on this floor is the session room and the kitchen. The second floor, a former attic, has been converted into a multipurpose room.

Church of San Esteve
Church located in the Príncep Benlloch square in Andorra la Vella, it is of Romanesque origin (12th century) and has had important modifications during the 20th century. From the Romanesque period the semicircular apse is preserved, where the Romanesque mural paintings were represented and are currently distributed in the National Museum of Art of Catalonia and two private collections. The wedding of Cana, the image of a winged bull, and Christ in front of Pilate are some of the fragments of the pictorial ensemble preserved in the National Museum of Art of Catalonia.
