Private Tour Tossa and Girona

Our tour starts very early in the morning, from the moment our driver-guide picks you up at the point previously agreed upon in the reservation (Hotel, house, airport, shopping center or any other point of interest).

From that moment we head to our first destination Tossa de Mar.

Upon arrival in Tossa de Mar, we will make a short tour of “Camí de Ronda”, to admire the beautiful scenery offered by its beaches, coves and the great variety of flora and fauna that can be seen in this area of the Costa Brava.

Then, we will visit one of the most emblematic monuments such as the “Castle of Tossa de Mar”, the castle retains a great history, created in the twelfth century, still retains its extensive fortified walls. Our guide will be in charge of directing you through the castle and describing part of the most relevant history of the castle, this is an almost obligatory visit.

Other very interesting places that we will visit on our route are: the beach “d’Es Codolar”, located in the old port of Tossa de Mar. It is also possible to visit the municipal museum in Tossa de Mar, where you can admire different types of Roman mosaics from the Villa of the Ametllers.

After this great tour we will go into the center of Girona.

Arrival in Girona, a tour awaits us where we will learn great history and discover the most impressive legends of the historic center of Girona.

We will visit the famous statue called “The ass of the Lioness”, and then we will continue to the basilica of Sant Feliu, where our guide will describe the most relevant details and will tell you a particular story known as “miracle of the flies”, which will amaze you.

We will visit some of the medieval sites of the region, such as the walls of Girona, other Romanesque remains that we will see on our tour, it is even possible to see the old cathedral of Girona which is one of the main symbols.

Then we will enter the Jewish Quarter, to walk quietly through its narrow streets, which today still maintains its culture. Our tour will take us through the main points of interest, of which we recommend our customers to have their camera ready to capture the moment of their visit to: the Rambla, Onyar River, the Stone Bridge, the Bridge of the Peixateries Velles and the Bridge of the Princess.

To culminate our tour, we will visit the Plaza de la Independencia, where you will find all kinds of restaurants and if you wish you can try some of the typical dishes (not included) of Girona.

At the end of our tour of Girona, our driver guide will take us back to our pick-up point.
